<농부의 시간>은 내가 일상에서 체감하는 속도와 농장이 지닌 느린 시간이 어긋나는 감각에서 출발한 작업이다. 농장의 풍경은 드론을 통해 약 6개월간 반복 촬영되며, 서서히 변해가는 시간의 층위를 축적한다. 여기에 농부의 밭지도와 파종을 기다리는 다양한 씨앗들을 ‘콩쟁반’ 위에 뒤섞어 설치함으로써, 서로 다른 생애주기와 속도를 지닌 시간들이 하나의 공간 안에 놓이도록 구성한다. 작업은 농부의 시간에 잠시 머물며 감각한 느린 리듬과, 그 시간들이 겹치며 만들어내는 풍경과 소리를 드러낸다.
<Farmer’s Time> begins from the sense of disjunction between the speed I experience in daily life and the slower time of the farm. The farm landscape was repeatedly filmed by drone over approximately six months, accumulating layers of time as they gradually changed. Alongside this, the farmer’s field map and various seeds waiting to be sown are mixed and installed on a “bean tray,” creating a structure in which times with different life cycles and speeds are placed within a single space. The work reveals the slow rhythm I sensed while briefly staying within the farmer’s time, as well as the landscapes and sounds produced as those different times overlap.
